PROCUREMENT GUIDE

What to confirm when requesting samples

Clear sample records help the manufacturer and customer evaluate the intended product.

Identify the sample

Confirm the actual manufacturer and model, applicable document revision, quantity and supplied accessories. A generic illustration does not define the sample appearance or connector.

Agree the evaluation responsibilities

The manufacturer or customer defines and performs technical evaluation and testing. We coordinate documentation and sample arrangements, and route questions to the relevant party.

Keep the conditions with results

Keep the product revision and test conditions attached to results. When documents disagree, confirm the applicable revision rather than combining favourable figures.

Separate sample and order terms

Confirm sample cost, shipping and the next decision point. A sample arrangement does not establish mass-production stock, final order terms or a universal suitability guarantee.

Make the next discussion specific.

Prepare your procurement object, application, quantity and key requirements. Unknown technical items can be confirmed during follow-up.
