Choose a catalogue cell, then enter your reference series and parallel counts. Voltage, capacity and mass come from that cell’s published specification revision.
Enable JavaScript and select a cell to use the conversion tool.
Nominal energy is voltage × capacity. Actual discharge energy depends on the applicable test and operating conditions.

The tool uses one selected cell specification and identical-cell arithmetic. Technical suitability, permitted current, matching, thermal design and runtime are confirmed by the manufacturer or customer.
If you choose to include parameters, the enquiry link carries the cell reference, counts and valid optional numbers. Contact details and project text are not included in that link. You can edit or remove the scenario before submitting.
What does 6S1P mean for CAT-0012?
Arithmetic example, not a configuration recommendation.
CAT-0012 : 20 Ah / 3.65 V. Assume six identical cells in series and one parallel string (6S1P).
- Nominal voltage
- 6 × 3.65 V = 21.9 V
- Nominal capacity
- 1 × 20 Ah = 20 Ah
- Nominal energy
- 21.9 V × 20 Ah = 438 Wh
- Cells-only mass reference
- 6 × 243 g = 1.458 kg
Datasheet revision: V2.0 · 2026-02-03. Mass uses the central specification value and excludes BMS, enclosure and connections. This nominal arithmetic does not establish usable energy, permitted current, runtime or design suitability.
The relationships used here
V_pack = N_s × V_cell Q_pack = N_p × Q_cell E_nom = V_pack × Q_pack m_cells = N_s × N_p × m_cell m_pack = m_cells + m_hardware I_reference = C_assumed × Q_pack P_reference = V_pack × I_reference
m_hardware is the additional pack mass you enter; C_assumed is the C-rate assumption you enter.
