PROCUREMENT GUIDE

What to prepare for a cell RFQ

A useful enquiry describes the procurement requirement and leaves uncertain technical items open for clarification.

Start with the procurement object

State whether you need individual cells, modules or a finished pack. Provide quantity and project stage. Use our catalogue reference if you have identified a specific record.

Describe the operating requirement

Share voltage and energy targets, continuous and peak loads, installation space, mass limits and temperature requirements. Keep customer targets separate from confirmed product specifications.

Compare consistent conditions

A short-duration discharge figure needs its duration. Cycle-life figures need temperature, charge/discharge rates, DOD and the endpoint. Cell performance does not establish assembled-pack performance.

Confirm commercial details

Specify sample and supply timing, destination and any preferred commercial terms. Availability, pricing, manufacturer identity and the agreed product revision are confirmed in the project.

Make the next discussion specific.

Prepare your procurement object, application, quantity and key requirements. Unknown technical items can be confirmed during follow-up.

Compare cell records

Compare the attached conditions as well as the numbers. Technical suitability and current supply terms are confirmed for the project.
